An another step in the direction of promoting investor protection
A new system called the ‘TRUST’ facility that enables investors to confirm necessary instructions for delivery from his DMAT account, from anywhere in the world reducing cost to the investor as also doing away with the need to visit the DP office to obtain and lodge delivery instruction slips, was launched by the CDSL.
TRUST stands for -TRansactions Using Secured Texting, which enables investors to give SMS confirmation of delivery instructions submitted by their brokers.
